my second attempt at a frittata(or as the FFXIV cookbook calls it, Farmer’s Breakfast) a new addition to our cooking rotation so that Rod doesn’t always have to do all the cooking.

A breakfast frittata sits in a black cast iron skillet in front of a bottle of Cholula hot sauce and Kewpie mayo. The frittata has visible potatoes, kielbasa, bacon, and onions in an egg mixture.

New hobby is hobbying. Pretty pleased with this being my first attempt at painting a mini. The figure is a Scourge Beast and came in the Bloodborne board game.

This was honestly one of my favorite games against Rod that we’ve ever had. If anyone wants to examine the game in detail, here it is!

Here is my contribution. It is a handmade ceramic mug from the Maryland Renaissance fair. It’s supposed to be for mead, but i use it for anything. i love it cause it’s so big and sturdy and keeps stuff warm for a while. i have a number of other mugs, but this is my go-to for coffee.

AAAAAAAHHHHHHH, our signed deluxe copy of Jacob Geller’s “How a Game Lives” finally arrived today and i’m so excited to get reading later. I have to get a record weight in order to listen to the record, but we should be getting one in a few days.

Made my mom a little thing for my mom for Mother’s Day. Cardinals are her favorite because she associates them with my late grandma, so I hope this can be a nice reminder for her.

Took a stab at today's #pixel_dailies theme with the most iconic #whip I know. @pixeldailies.bsky.social

A 64 by 64 pixel art piece of an abyssal whip from Runescape on an olive green background. We had a bit of a shopping day(no one ask me how much money was spent please) and this is one of my favorite finds from B&N’s. It’s a 4k UHD and blu-ray combo of The Princess Bride. Apparently it was scanned in from the original 35 mm master and restored. I can’t wait to watch it.

YAY! My DVD copy of Raised By Wolves Season 2 came in! The problem is that it turns out we ordered the European edition by mistake and will need to get a region free player or change our PS5 to Europe region so I can watch it lol oops.

I finally started reading The Deviant since Christmas is just around the corner and damn I just couldn’t put it down. Took all my willpower not to read all 8 issues last night, but I couldn’t resist picking it back up and reading the rest today. Sad I’ll have to wait till Feb for the last issue.

This came in today and the second season(on DVD) is on its way. I never even got to see the second season since it released in March 2022 and then Max canceled and removed it from their service in December of the same year.
