The other option is to include Kuzma to Denver which doesn’t help them much this year but gives them a ton of flexibility next off-season (when Jokic is supposed to be signing on for more years).
Now that GTJ is in the fold it’s hard for us to get help the Nuggets books without a third team, but something like this works. Bucks get Watson and take on Braun (and clear some roster space), Nuggets get rotation players and clear the first apron, Hornets are a dumping ground.
I just did it with Denver-Detroit. They both have more impacted books than the Bucks so if it works between them it works for us. The only thing I’d question is timing because there might be a 60-day restriction for Levert which means this would be a September trade.
