Became obsessed with politics during the Brexit disaster - despise corrupt Tory politicians - have hope for better from Starmer etc. Recently retired - which overall I don't recommend! Tango dancer - another obsession, but just a tad more enjoyable!
Am I missing something here? Currently very few (if any) people who receive only the state pension are paying income tax. The tax free allowance is more than most people get on state pension. Are they preying on peoples ignorance of the tax system, to get a feel-good headline?
Rory is a book-loving just-2 year old, who know most of his books by heart already, and LOVES Elmer, clearly . . . .
The Ipaper's relentless anti-Government stance continues . . . Most right-minded commentators are welcoming this step in the right (ie correct) direction.
The IPaper once again showing it's anti -Labour bias. "Ousted"? Really? As it admits in the article this is actually a promotion. Any excuse for this paper to paint the Labour Government in a bad light.
Took a photo of my sister reading the paper. Look closely at her face . . . . (Pure chance!)
That a crap headline on today's i newspaper. What it doesn't mention - - to be paying 40% tax, they need to be earning over £50k, - the 40% will only be applied on the amount earned, over £50k, - this is expected to happen "within 5 years". Is this really such bad news? The i - latest Tory rag.
