Bat Boy Lives! Same attitude as that Ex-place, but with half the assholios. Yes, that is my hair... US Army Veteran, so the sarcasm is built in.
If you see this, we IMPLORE you to post à picture from whatever device you are using without explanation:
I found some mushrooms, growing unintentionally (I think) at the zoo. @lukelukeluke.bsky.social or @fungiforager.bsky.social could you help identify? Sorry if the pics are not good enough quality, it was getting dark.
Most cats don't enjoy the water, but this tiger was definitely playing in it Wednesday at the San Diego Zoo:
Taking advantage of as many of the few remaining zoo nights that are left (ends August 9, and San Diego Zoo says this is the last year they will be doing extended night zoo hours, so we went again tonight:
I mean, Central Park has a few roads, too, but definitely not the parking.
So many of us have followed the two of you on your adventures, along with the addition of the "Wii Shiite" and others, throughout the years. Sure I'm not alone in saying we mourn with you, and pray you find fairer winds in the morning. 🫂 from George the dog & me.
Camera on new phone is making me very happy. Butterfly iris pic:
Hey, NC, anyone with experience with reactive, young Aussies got room? This boy needs a home. I'd take him, but I'm all the way across the country, and my old boy George deserves a more peaceful old age, just can't do that to him:
Had a great time at the member appreviation night out at the Safari Park last night. Didn't get a pic, but my favorite thing was the feral long-tailed weasel my friend saw from the tram ride near where we stopped to see this giraffe. Also...so many rhinos!
This goober just likes Keep-away. Will go get it, but won't bring it back.
Saw a few at the Safari Park last week. Never saw them before. So cute. I squeeeeeed!
Post the best picture you have ever taken of your pet (if you feel like it)
Celebration of life of a dear friend/relative who died recently. Amazing fun stories, she got the send-off she deserved, with so many memories of the light, love and joy she shared with so many. Beautiful view of downtown, too.
Last week was the first time I ever saw George the dog slow down and willingly turn around on a hike. Very hard to watch them age so quickly. George will be 13 this year. Hope Blaze can continue enjoying quality of life for a bit, yet, brought so much joy to so many.
Hey, any herpetology experts in here? Trying to ID this beautiful lizard we saw on the road at Mission Trails Regional Park in San Diego today, about 5.5-6 inches long. Not the greatest pic, sorry, but sun was going down. Gorgeous blue on its sides.
One of these days I'll invest in editing software to take out the wires, but...this was tonight's view as George the dog and I rounded for home:
The Sushi Stand in Liberty Station made me the most beautiful poke box for dinner tonight:
Got this pic as I headed home tonight, not great, but made me happy:
