Took me far too long to sit down and make something as simple as chicken katsu curry, but hey, its tasty and I didn't poison myself
Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn't Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam or Alice In Chains
Didn't expect the Mystical Archive Brainstorm to be beat, but I didn't know this one existed.
Expensive to acquire, but The Celestial Toymaker seems like a lot of fun.
So lead with that selling point then break down what that looked like in practice. An example from an older section in my own resume looks like this. I make a claim, then I back up what that looked like in practice. Some contributions can't be contained in a single bullet, so use more.
Name a TV show you feel like no one remembers but you: Earth 2 It's weirdly 2nd place for the I identify Tim Curry with after Clue.
Cats are great for reminding you that any expensive piece of furniture you buy is their bed.
Nice! Same here. I've got a few decks, with Rocco, Street Chef and Golbez, Crystal Collector being my current favs.
WoW players when a mod let them draw in the world (forget the name, but it was made and banned back in WotLK): "heh, dicks" FFXIV players when a UI improvement lets them draw:
Rapid Hybridization, just because it was the most Simic piece of removal ever. Yes, it destroyed your thing but now you have a frog lizard so are you really worse off?
I've seen so many Baguette costumes for the first day of PAX, but this is unquestionably the best
It's taken 3 years, but Mako has finally figured out the right place to lay on the igloo bed isn't on top of it
Tell me your favorite movie not many people know Elvis (who may or may not actually be an impersonator) and JFK (who may or may not have been dyed black) fight a mummy in cowboy boots who is sucking the souls of their fellow retirement home residents. It's as weird and wonderful as it sounds
Turned on the heater for the first time this winter and set up a blanket tent for the cats in front of it. I only wish I was as warm as they probably are.
Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty I'm cheating by naming a whole set. It was fantastic from a mechanics perspective, but just look at some of these alternate frames and art! Ninjas, samurai, legendary cards, and normal all had unique borders that worked so well. The full art lands are absolutely gorgeous too.
Colossus of Akros I was drafting weekly when Theros came out and had a pretty solid win / loss record. That said, I would always jam this guy in the deck if I picked him up later in a pack. The Colossus is big, expensive, and incredibly impractical, but every time I made it work was a personal win.
Thicket Basilisk and Lure was the first combo I found back in Unlimited as a kid. One sided wrath was kinda fun to figure out with such a small card pool.
Possibility Storm I love big, dumb, chaotic enchantments and Possibility Storm is about as chaotic as they come without getting too silly.
