That's a really good read. But I'm a little confused by this graf. Who is "the group"? Who was explaining -- the pitchers themselves? -- and were they referring to games they'd already pitched or simulations? Who decided examples were positive or negative?

During spring training, the Nationals had pitchers and catchers stand in front of the group to explain their pitch sequencing in games. Many of the examples were positive, allowing batteries to explain why they chose the pitches they threw. Pitchers said it served as a learning opportunity.

I never got a July 4 puzzle yesterday. All that came up was July 3 despite numerous refreshes, and this is what I get when I try to play today. Same thing happened on 7/3 -- the only puzzle I could get was 7/2. There's a problem somewhere, it appears

I'm not so sure about that. See the two grafs with the word "already" highlighted. They seem to imply that the states are to verify citizenship of everyone who is already registered

i) the Secretary of Homeland Security shall, consistent with applicable law, ensure that State and local officials have, without the requirement of the payment of a fee, access to appropriate systems for verifying the citizenship or immigration status of individuals registering to vote or who are already registered;
(ii) the Secretary of State shall take all lawful and appropriate action to make available information from relevant databases to State and local election officials engaged in verifying the citizenship of individuals

They really are beyond stupid. A friend of a friend is in manufacturing and said this in a Facebook discussion:

I own a manufacturing business. All this chaos is destabilizing my industry. This is the worst 3 month period I've had since the covid lock down. Prices skyrocketed during the supply chain disruptions, and never dropped back down. Now, I'm being hit with pre-emptive price hikes, in anticipation of these on again/ off again tariff threats. The main material I use is not manufactured in the US. Coupled with the nose dive consumer confidence has taken, my customers have scaled back on all projects, so the work load has died out. It's a disaster. Who wants to do business with a country that is completely unreliable, when they can take it somewhere else that has a stable goverment, with competent leadership?

Not that I've noticed. It's not completely devoid of any smell but what there is is innocuous. Sometimes I use this instead. It's tinted -- but a little darker than optimal for my super pale skin
