The legend is that Bud Fisher wasn't allowed to sign his work. So after editorial approval, he snuck down to the newspaper's printing room where he signed his name before the engraving. The copyrights from Mutt and Jeff comics made Bud wealthy.

Client had boxes of harmonicas in the corner of his office. I spotted it. He didn't know about them and gave me one. I've always wanted to try a chromatic, BUT it requires cleaning because local polka guys sometimes leave them full of sausage.

Golden Age comics and post-punk will always be great because you get to watch artists as they grow, refine their skills, and evolve. An organic experience we see less and less of. (Carl Burgos is a great example.)
