Now, we are so incredibly close. What was years of dread and obligation has become me even looking forward to the shenanigans we'd get up to. Now, she loves my husband and she actually looks forward to spending time with him too. I don't think I could've ever asked for a better outcome.
After a few months of discussions and life under a new light, we decided to try things over. What didn't seem to work all those years back was all coming together, and shortly before the world fell apart, I proposed to him. We got married a year ago, and life has been so good for both of us.
My sister's dog passed away today. He was such a lovely boy, always so glad to see me when I go there. I always tell him that he is "my favourite nephew" when I have 2 other human nephews. He was diagnosed with cancer, and I got to say goodbye last night. Rest in peace, Jo. Love you, Nephew.

14. When I moved to the US, I felt inside myself that I needed to lean hard into masculine stereotypes so no one would suspect anything. I wore big boots, a leather jacket and shaved my head and tried to grow my facial hair. I dressed like that for years, for almost as long as I remained closeted.

6. I think the worst feeling being so confused about my sexuality at the time, having a crush on a wrestling Jaguar man, and not entirely liking sex or women, when you have your peers at school calling you "gay" and a "fag", it felt like everyone knew something I didn't, or was accepting.
I'm back! The other day, @neoxiii.bsky.social noticed that I was banned on Bluesky. I couldn't for the life of me realize why that was so. Spoke to moderation, it was the Beau is Afraid quote that was on my profile info.
Saw a Toyota MR2 on my lunch break, and my car is a CUV, which might as well be a hatch, but I never realize how much bigger my car is compared to smaller sports cars like this.
