Jürgen Klopp expected to be named the new head coach of the German men's national team.
Watched the 1976 version of "The Town That Dreaded Sundown" over the weekend. It's a Charles B. Pierce movie, so arguably it exists in the Boggy Creek universe, it even features some of the actors who were in Boggy Creek II. Here we see Pierce w/ Jimmy Clem, Dr. Lockhart and Crenshaw, respectively.
For years I’ve owned this souvenir bottle my grandparents bought at the 1939 NY World’s Fair. Under regular light it looks like a white, ceramic bottle. But today I learned it’s made of uranium glass!
Now that I've seen #ReturnToBoggyCreek #Rifftrax, I can totally understand why Charles B. Pierce chose to ignore it when he made his sequel. Just trying to figure out if "Return" is the Caddyshack 2 or Halloween 3 of the Boggy Creek films. How in the hell does one earn the nickname T-Fish anyway?
Happy Birthday, Norman! Douglas MacIntosh would’ve turned 100 today if he hadn’t checked out in 2012. #Rifftrax #NormanKrasner
Did...did you just correct my spelling? So what if it was wrong...it's the bee basket for you, sir! As text lacks tonal inflection, this is completely said in jest.
Yesterday, December 7, 1941-- a date which will live in infamy --the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Islamic Republic of Japan.
My cousin recently sent me a copy of Life Magazine from November, 1950 because there was an article in there related to some unfortunate family history involving a train crash. It's filled with a bunch of really cool mid-century holiday ads, and here are just a few.
If you've ever seen your favorite band play a 19,000 seat arena, then you know this has opening band level energy.
"Sir, radar is detecting a Truth Social post slamming the Supreme Court inbound on our port quarter!"
Seen in the wild today, close to a fireworks stand that’s offering a military discount (I guess 10% off your PTSD?).
I think this has to be my favorite WWII era poster: the guy in the middle spewing tons of fluids into his pissed off buddy's food while the soldier in the background looks on with a "You uncouth bastard!" look on his face.
