Begbroke tenant Mode Labs Ltd has been awarded £100,000 as one of 20 finalists in Ofwat's Water Discovery Challenge 👏 Mode Labs secured the award to develop & trial its CERES autonomous chemical-monitoring platform in the real-time measurement of harmful chemicals in rivers & sewer overflows.

We will shortly have space available in Unit 6 at Begbroke. The building consists of a ground-floor office & workshop space totalling approx. 4,884 sq ft. Our tenants benefit from close connections with Oxford University as well as on-site technical services & a vibrant entrepreneurial community.

Next in our line-up of speakers for Ox Tech Week is Dr Jane Jin, Co-Founder & Chief Innovation Officer at OXCCU. OXCCU is an Oxford spinout focusing on developing & scaling up technologies & processes to convert waste carbon to sustainable aviation fuel and chemicals.
Last week, we were delighted to host a site visit in collaboration with the Development & Alumni Engagement Office. After a welcome from Elaine Walder, Begbroke's Director of Operations, our guests enjoyed a guided tour around the site, including a visit to a next-generation battery technology lab.
Introducing our first Ox Tech Week speaker 🥁 Vass Ragoussis, CEO of OXECO. Vass founded his first start-up while President of the Oxford Biotech Society. Inspired by the importance of materials, he saw the potential to create a cleaner, greener world through chemistry stemming from Oxford.

On Friday, Oxford University Science Park, Begbroke was honoured to host His Majesty King Charles III & The Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire, Mrs Marjorie Glasgow BEM, for a visit to tenant company OXCCU.
Last October, Begbroke-based Nekton partnered with the Government of the Comoros to launch the first systematic exploration of its ocean.
