I have gone to new lengths for the lols. Approximately 2600mm (5200mm in 35mm terms) in fact.
This, itself, is not a great shot and was just a test but I might have to get Megan to let me borrow this lens sometime on another hot humid day and try and take some good street shots leveraging how the super-tele exaggerates the heat distortion

We're upgrading Megan's 100-400 to the v2 that adds Sync IS (up to 7 stops at the 100mm end), and, I regret to inform you all that I can only hand-hold 400mm (800mm full frame) down to 1/10 with tack results so far.
If your lens doesn't have its own strap and lugs, is it even a lens? (No I won't be buying this one...)
If I make a few tweaks here just for illustrative purposes, here's what the blurred tones layer and the separated texture/detail layers look like. You can see how only larger blemishes remain on the tones layer, most detail becomes 'separated' so you can retouch it without dealing with the tones.
My action creates two layers and one mask (it leaves the original image as the background layer, for safety. The middle layer is the color or tones. The top layer is the details. You do your spot removal mostly on the top layer. Use a soft brush at about 17% on the mask to soften skin texture.
No I mean the Millennium, which initially looks like 2-bit, but in each mode one color has that diamond-halftone pattern, and one color has scan lines, for a total of 6 unique colors. Doing it as 1- or 2-bit would require either layers or alpha blending to accomplish that, I think yeah?
A 1:1 crop after fixing the dramatic vertical keystoning is also sometimes fun
I might experiment more with 16:9 crops when using the UWA, just because it's often the case where the horizontal pano is more engaging than whatever fills the vertical space with such a wide FOV OM-1, 7-14
