Actually progress. Yellow, red and bone all done. Just got the black, metallics, and some grey edge highlights to go. *and the helmets #Nerdlings
Just now realising the actors who’s playing Cirdan is the guy who played General Merrick, the coolest/hottest Star Wars character. Also they did the right thing and gave him back his beard.
Technical progress, the best kind of progress. I started painting the bases. I could totally just paint the heads, and they’ll be done… But I would never be happy with that… #Nerdlings
All the messy steps are done on the terminators. So now I can start the actual fun stuff. #Nerdlings

Now with sanded and sealed bases. Which does sort of mean I’m out of hobby stuff to do, as I can’t paint in this weather… #Nerdlings
Black Orcs and Big Boss all cleaned up and glued to bases. #Nerdlings
My MTO orcs finally arrived (I’m also getting the catapult for my birthday). Tempted to try and get them painted for my next Battlemarch event, but that seems unlikely with the weather. #Nerdlings
Finally finished building all the terminators. Probably going to get a contemptor dreadnought and some vanguard veterans next. #Nerdlings
Red Scorpions transfers have arrived. A really annoying shape to get flat, but it looks pretty good. #Nerdlings
Finished the extra bits on the fancier terminator shoulders. #Nerdlings
I’m out of black primer so I can’t start the main part of the terminators, but I can do their shoulders. Used a sponge to do this, leaves behind a bit of texture that I’ll have to get used too. But otherwise I like it. #Nerdlings
Red Scorpion test model is done. Other than a transfer, and a sandy/desert base. He looks great, and should be able to bash the rest out quick so I can get playing. #Nerdlings

Built the legs and torsos of the second squad. Waiting to give them arms till the assault squads turn up, so I can mix up the poses. #Nerdlings
First few terminators all cleaned up and built (and god damn there was a lot of cleaning up..). I’m going to paint the helmets and right shoulder separately. #Nerdlings
Not in a painting mood, so building terminators. Plan to finally have that all terminator army I’ve wanted for years, but undecided on the chapter. Deathwing is always tempting but I’m leaning towards something different. Red Scorpions or Sons of Medusa are the current front runners. #Nerdlings
Colm Corbec all done. Other than the shadows on his arms being a little dark, I’m happy with him. #Nerdlings
Finally started work on the Ghosts. Got in my own head about trying to make them the best possible. But I’ve managed to motivate myself to just start slapping paint on and see how it goes. #Nerdlings
Got some Tamiya putty to fill up the saddles, so the riders actually sort of fit now. Also used some to get the shield attaching to the Gryphon Legion riders, as they don’t have any built in shield numbs. #Nerdlings
5 more Kislev horse archers mostly built up. I’m waiting on some putty to fill gaps (the shirtless guys are very gappy). Also waiting on the putty to try and make a copy of the legs. So I can make a second champion and finally use the spare torso. #Nerdlings
The little convey that could. The second Tanith hippogryph is all done. So that’s all the exciting stuff from the guard Armageddon box done. Need to start on the infantry/characters next. Model 125 of 2026. #Nerdlings
Also picked up more horse archers, some of them even have bows. I’m only missing one pose now.
