Had a great tour of Billings Field with reps from the Parks Dept. The project is on track for a partial opening in Nov. The courts, including street hockey, the ramp from Bellevue St, + the walking paths will all be open. The grass will need to take root and will be ready in spring 27.
FY27 Budget goes into effect today! The City Council restored funding cuts to over 20 grants & programs like: Age Strong, Youth Jobs, Housing Vouchers, Equity Grants, Access to Counsel, and more. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to get this done.

Boston Firefighter Bobby Kilduff continues to be honored as a Hometown Hero Banner in his memory was unveiled today on Centre St in West Roxbury. Kilduff’s children Mason and Hanna spoke of how much their Father loved his neighborhood and this banner will be 1 small honor of his legacy.

The 3 days of programming in West Roxbury run by Ethos and Age Strong is absolutely crucial to the health and well-being of our seniors. Ben advocated strongly for the 3rd day of programming to be fully funded in the FY27 budget and proud to have pushed it over the finish line.
Yesterday, Team Weber joined Mayor Wu, Rep Montaño, and many members of the administration, advocates, community leaders and JP residents to celebrate the reopening of the Hennigan pool after years of closure and repairs. (1/3)
