The supermarket near us is going out of business and by the time we got there 2/3 of the shelves were empty and whatever was left was 50% off so we made some purchases we might not have otherwise

Someone needs to write about the end of To Your Eternity and how its narrative morphed and merged with the timely concerns of our current reality while maintaining all its wide-reaching and ambitious themes.

These quislings have set up barricades to prevent press and citizens from documenting & supporting the struggle of hunger strikers inside Delaney Hall. They are escorting ICE and prison profiteers into their illegal facility when what they should be doing is enforcing state law and KEEPING THEM OUT.
Notice also that her statement doesn't mention the strikers and THEIR demands. Visitation is good but it's a crumb. The governor is carrying water for ICE. She is collaborating with fascists. We need to make her recenter the victims of ICE terror who are bravely standing up inside Delaney.
"It is critical that outside actors allow this to happen safely." Sherrill is completely out of touch. Visitation restarting is good. But "outside actors" are the only reason people have been able to visit family members at Delaney Hall with any level of comfort and safety for more than a year.
