Today we had to say goodbye to our beloved dog Olaf. We only had him for about four years as he was eight years old when we adopted him. I couldn’t imagine a sweeter, gentler giant of a good boy or a fiercer protector of his family.
Fun LA fact: We just finished having the “May Grey” (cloudy overcast and cool) followed by the “June Gloom” (basically the same thing), followed by “Boiling in Satan’s Taint” from July-October.

A random cool thing happened tonight — I was at a used book store thinking “I should read more Harlan Ellison”. I picked up his “Angry Candy” collection of short stories for $8. When I got into the car with it, I realized it was a signed copy! I guess I really have to read it now.
Any movie can be a Christmas movie with the right attitude. (I actually used to watch this every Xmas. True story)
