Geheel mee eens. Deze was dan wel niet gehakseld, maar gewoon doodgereden met de maaimachine. En het is allemaal zo simpel te verbeteren met minder natuurschade. Dat er gemaaid moet worden snap ik. Maar doe het 6 weken later. Er zal altijd wel wat 'collateral damage' zijn, maar niet zoals nu.

#Natuurbeheer in het #Fochteloërveen: brede bermen vol wilde bloemen, sommige tot ver in het najaar voedselbron voor talloze insecten en vogels, braamstruiken met boomkikkers (nota bene een beschermde diersoort) - alles genadeloos naar de gallemiezen geklepeld. Waarom, @natuurmonumenten.bsky.social?
