One of the big reasons younger generations (I.e. everyone after Boomers) are really struggling is because of the ridiculously high cost of getting a university education. It shouldn’t cost tens of thousands to get a degree. The government needs to provide more funding to universities.
How can any country, any person, any decent human being keep supporting Israel?
It does my head in that we have a RC because Zionists are offended seeing people wearing scary keffiyehs & protesting against Israel’s murder of Palestinians. All forms of bigotry are absolutely disgusting, but none are as bad as Israel’s desire to wipe all Palestinians off the face of the earth.
I understand the concerns that Jewish Australians have about genuine anti-Semitic abuse. It’s unacceptable. But what’s way more unacceptable is how many Australian women continue to be murdered every week my domestic male violence. Why don’t women’s lives matter in this country?
All I want is for Palestinians to live free from the threat of murder by the IDF. For Palestinians to be supported to rebuild on their own land. To be free of the Apartheid they have been living under for decades, perpetrated by Israel. But for wishing that, I am considered “anti-Semitic”.
