I redesigned Jill's swimsuit back in Feb '22 and that was the only time she wore it, which makes sense given the lack of pools or beaches we could visit. HOWEVER that's changed now! Gonna make sure to bring her along next time we visit the beach so she can enjoy it again. Second piece is the first.

Back on the 23rd of April (last Thursday), my roommate gave me 30 days to find a place to live or they'd kick me out. The next day he then added on that if I'm still here when May starts that I'll need to also give my share of rent because in his words "why we should each be spending 200 dollars more on rent if you’re still going to be here" which would be reasonable if I wasn't just handed a request to vacate the day prior. In the past couple of months he's been very vocal in how much he's looking forward to having more room in the apartment, and I've already been shouldered out of having room for any of my own groceries in the kitchen, in addition to items I owned being damaged or thrown out without asking me first. It was requested during the one time I was venting on bluesky that I wasn't to subtweet about my frustrations with the roommate, but yet the micro-aggressions did not stop coming from their end. Additionally, even after being reminded that I've got rejection sensitivity and explaining what that meant, they both have decided to keep me in the dark on everything unless I approach them directly.

The bright side is my sister is over in the RI/Boston area and operates a bunny rehoming program that she started a couple of months back. She's got a room available for me to move in to, and was looking to ask me about helping her with the buns the next time we caught up. We've got a majority of approval from her landlord, and I can at least right now cover a rental car to make the long trip over. It's about 12 hours for a single drive, and my vehicle ptsd will mean I'm taking regular breaks to de-stress. If we can raise $300 it'd cover gas, food, overnight lodging to drastically reduce my stress from driving, and I'd put any remainder towards first rent followed by a thrift store visit because I still only have a week's stretch of clothes to work with since my wardrobe was stolen back in WI. Every bit and dollar counts, and together I hope to return the favor!

Y'know those science experiments where it's the solvent poured out of a cup and it solidifies mid-pour so the cup stands on end? We didn't have any of the ingredients to make that so we did some substitutions and ended up with this critter as a pet now. They will NOT release the cup either.

The sort of slime that one finds under a bridge or in the sewers during rainy seasons. In nature, these tend to enjoy moist environments with plenty of sunlight. However, in cities they often are forced to live nomadic between shelters, and their consistency reflects their mental state.

Slimes tend to not grow particularly large, at east when it comes to ones which maintain a humanoid shape on the regular. However, when it comes to the sort who tend to form shells they often turn out as the largest bodies of their species. This one has easily outgrown her shell.
