Louisville would have never funded affordable housing at current levels without the support of CLOUT. It’s wonderful to be at the Nehemiah Action Assembly and see CLOUT pushing for more funding for affordable housing, including permanent supportive housing.

Congratulations to House of Ruth on the ribbon cutting for Red Key Landing, 40 units of permanent supportive housing in Louisville’s Shelby Park neighborhood. The project was funded in large part with an appropriation of American Rescue Plan dollars by Metro Council on November 11, 2021.

The expanded and renovated Portland Library is a wonderful addition to one of Louisville’s historic neighborhoods. The project - the ribbon for which will be cut on December 2 - started with Metro Council’s allocation of American Rescue Plan funds in June of 2022.

Great to see The Chancery ribbon cutting today. It will provide 34 more units of permanent supportive housing in Louisville, which is the proven best way to address chronic homelessness. The project started with a Metro Council appropriation of American Rescue Plan funds in November 2021.
