After 30 years of service, my GbV "Alien Lanes" bottle opener is going to a good friend who enjoys having a drink more often than I do. Time to put the circa 2008 Dirtbombs opener (for their "We Have You Surrounded" LP/CD) into action or maybe, inaction...nah, less action. Happy 2026 everyone!!!

My view of Ivor Hay's drums at the Union Transfer from last Saturday night. I was in the 2nd row of punters for the entire set. All 8 members (and the guitar tech on harmonica for 1 song) played perfectly. This was one of the greatest performances I have been lucky enough to see + encore setlist.
The only Kings I recognize are Eddie Roeser and Roger Osborne.
