I impulse bought this curvy Heywood-Wakefield desk yesterday off FBMP for $220. Braved a meetup at a storage unit with a thankfully decent seller. Champagne finish, solid hard rock maple, and all the drawers have dovetail joints. No apologies.
This is your reminder to make art and music at all times, but especially in chaotic times. POV: my seat at today's rehearsal for the SLO Master Chorale concert tomorrow of Haydn's "The Creation" at the Cal Poly Performing Arts Center in San Luis Obispo, CA. I'll be thinking the #Artemis mission.
Sending solidarity from California to you and all the shell-shocked. You are loved. We are following your lead. In the short term, here is a cat named Graham, for he is perfectly toasted and has a fluffy marshmallow center. He is also a summer Shakespeare player.
Volunteer shift at the St Barnabas Thrift Shop today turned up this gem of a stained glass wreath. The soldering is failing, but I remembered on of my neighbors does stained glass, so he's gonna help me fix it.
Bsky placed this post above yours in my feed and I read 'Corgitive' Computational Neuroscience... 😁
Wordle word AND the ad it served up giving so much disrespect on my 50th birthday! 😹
Raise a glass to Klaus kitty tonight. I will treasure our 11y of companionship and his distinguished good looks. Absolute emperor among cats.
POV: you're a tall 2nd Soprano in the SLO Master Chorale rehearsing the Verdi Requiem for tomorrow's 3pm concert at the Cal Poly Performing Arts Center.

I'm the chair of my city's Planning Commission, and we just approved some cute new rowhomes last night. They are next to the elementary school. One will be reserved for a 'Very Low Income' buyer, which in my county, means a household of 4 making <$63k/year. The rest are market rate.
Two weeks in Paris has only further radicalized me for point-block mid-rise construction.
