The caturking is enjoying the sun. It has never rained as much in July in our fair city, so we all are enjoying some vitamin d today. #caturday
I find reading fables during times of mayhem is an excellent choice, it makes the insane reality rather less terrifying and dull.
Some random favorite photos lifted out of my album to share in the hope of giving some joy during days of mayhem and hope. #stunday #photography #iceland #scotland

Some personal stuff: as a result of COVID a few years back, got it once and a so called mild version, I developed Long COVID and from that POTS and ME. I was vaccinated and boosted, so I didn’t die. Please be careful to not catch it or spread it: it’s a Russian Roulette.
Did a short shift at the bookshop yesterday. Sold yet another copy of the Master and Margarita because I love that book so much. Asked the owners to order more Doppelgänger and brought home this stash to read myself:) #booksky
@critterbutts.bsky.social glad to see you here :) I put your wonderful stickers on my laptop.
Amun the lazy cat playing with the toy he got for Xmas that is almost shredded into oblivion since this photo was taken. Adorable chap who loves to be my radiator. He is a rebel at heart. 💜
Everything that creates happiness is for free. Consumption is not part of that equation.
Slowly getting better from my long years of long COVID. Winter is graduating giving way for spring. Went out for a birthday walk yesterday with my daughter to the tiny mountains. Nourishment.
Hahahahaaha - Marco the Ruby red Castro lead the way; Sir; show some respect for the laws in your country and please make sure to do the same while traveling abroad.
I am doing a shift in the little bookshop, quiet day, so I peak into Bluesky when the shop is empty of people. I watch the cover of the banned book in the bookshelf ahead of me, with some of my favorite books and am reminded we are not in 1935 but 2025 and yet it's the same script.
First Bluesky news reference I’ve seen in Icelandic media. Of course it’s the ever so brilliant @eliothiggins.bsky.social who gets the honor of being first.
The harsh reality is: every nation is currently just one election from willfully electing fascist regimes because of the massive deliberate brainrot inflicted by social media and other tools of brainwashing by the most powerful entities in the world. How do we stop it?
I honestly had forgotten how many people rooted for my crazy artistic experimentations and how young I was when I got to have my work published. I was 14 when the very first poem I wrote was published in a newspaper. It was of course about the aftermath of a nuclear bomb. Such a carefree child.
Going through the archives and sorting them is ever so time consuming because each piece of paper contains so many memories and reflections. My mom was a rather popular musician and I found this photo in her stuff. I’m the freaky looking teenager in the back :)
Since my little family started a new tradition of who gets to host Xmas dinner: My son and his amazing girlfriend; I got to skip decorating my flat and only got 3 Hyacinths because they smell like heaven.
A festive collage. A deep symbolic meaning. Your Xmas riddle. If you can solve it, the awards are great: figure it out and find out :) happy brightmas or whatever fits before mas 🌲🎄🕊️🌞
I had gotten some fancy fish jerky for the cat as Xmas treat. Forgot to hide it and when I got home from work he had tore open the bag and consumed half of it. He is now demanding to have the rest. Thankfully he hasn’t masted opening the fridge 🤣
