it uses a desktop to do the initial pairing process and to ensure wireless syncing is enabled. then, i have a helper sync the pairing cert to the 3DS, which allows the 3DS to directly connect to my iPhone (and fetch its name)!

update: we have a pinch of emoji support now and the photo gallery exists. the feed UI is tricky and honestly the hardest part at this point (also processing & caching images, although there’s a second CPU I can use for this I think)

porting Bluesky to the Nintendo 3DS in Swift (because why not) actually went pretty well
