Just gonna say it.... Was bored, watched the War of the Primes series (popped up on my youtube feed).. and that was just bad.. on all levels to the point i was hatewatching it halfway thru, lol.

Clutch steal, burns the clock, draws the foul, sinks the FTs & then comes up w/ the game winning D board, snaking out to dribble off the last couple seconds. IMO there is no one w/ a stronger "clutch" gene in the W than Sonia Citron, the silent assassin, Killer Frost. ZERO drama on or off the court.
One of my northerly friends sent along one of those 1/200 scale Macross model kits, knowing how much I love Destroid Spartans. Much as I love my Robotech, though, I love Battletech more, so decided to paint it up quick as an homage to my favorite illustration of the Archer. Anyone know which?
Clan Cai-yoh-tay. They are wiley. Geniuses, some might say. So it was only natural that they would come up w/ the most genius of Meks, OmniMeks, tho initially other clans felt the idea was a bit looney. They changed their tune, quickly tho, after the 1st Coyotl walked off the ACME production lines.
I when AI Bros try to equate using filters on GIMP or Photoshop to using an LLM (Gen AI). Filters on those programs don't scrape the internet and steal from artists. Filters on those programs don't contribute to water wastage, as there is no data center. You're just parading your Ignorance.
it's not all Mechs for me, it's just that mechs are the only thing that ever generate business & engagement for me. And I'm not sure if that's a blessing or a curse. On the one hand it can become stagnant doing the same same, ad infinitum. On the other, maybe it reserves a niche just for myself?
planes, trains & automobiles ain't really my thing, but for whatever reasons, 4 years ago I got a wild hair & did a quickie of my favorite First Generation Jet Fighter. The Mig-15, specifically the two seat trainer model, as the extended canopy IMO, gives more aesthetically pleasing proportions.
because those who hoard do not create, our society has long echoed their envy. And such, those who create, especially those who create "non essentials", are told they need real jobs... by the same people who hoard our works, and want to replace us with AI.
yeah... though with their crap they been pulling with WotC, the AI stuff, the Pinkertons? I am much more likely to by a 3rd or 4th Party figure these days, or off the used market than give em fresh money. were I a rich man, this masterpiece would be a consideration
2/2 From there, w/in a year, my Brother had gotten the AD&D 1e PHB, MM & DMG, by 1986 I got the Palladium Robotech RPG & in 1987 discovered Battletech, RIFTs in 1990, Vampire the Masquerade in 1991, etc. Suffice to say the "Theater of the Mind", has been a huge part of my life for 40 yrs now.
1/2 My first D&D/RPG experience. Was a stocking stuffer in 1983, when I was 8. Played the crap out of that little game for probably a good 2 yrs, though. My older brother (13 at the time) got the Basic D&D Red Box, and we got the giant companion puzzle as a family project, too. What's your story?

"Mocking poverty"? So working class staples are poverty now? Make no mistake, I live in MX, so our beans on toast are called molletes, and are a delicious staple. But speaking from a far more impoverished nation than England? Not hiding behind "mocking poverty", either. That's just weak.
