I’ve always been a fan of morning light. Today it is joined by the sound of quaking aspen leaves and a glorious temperature for sitting outside with coffee. In northern Minnesota, summer is best taken as a brief treat. And right now summer is treating our socks off.
Our beautiful Elkhound Scarlett, 13 years ago today, taken while picking blueberries. She loved to eat them off the bush. Seeing this photo causes me to recall in great detail putting my nose in her warm fur and inhaling her scent. Miss her.
So, a test. This is grandson Quin. I say he looks remarkably like another man with North Minneapolis connections. What say ye?
