Friend sent me this site... turnmeondeadman.com/whitealbum-a... Pick your own The Beatles if it was a 1LP record. My selection after much deliberation... an evil concept.
I remember when I was like 15 I had a kick to watch "edgy" films and I blindly picked "Possession." I only knew Sam Neill for Jurassic Park as a kid... his performance as well as Adjani's had changed my world and put me on the path to become who I am today. Godspeed Sam
I was also really surprised how funny this is, there's a couple of points where the opposing character either says something or creates something so earnestly that you can't help but laugh a bit. Overall, I really enjoyed the demo.
Thoughts now I've finished it; I remember playing the 2012 IMSCARED when it came out and it changing my view on games. to see it depicted as a museum piece sends all kinds of feelings to me; all being harnessed into a work on the horror of a life dedication to nostalgia... (1/3)
🌟🐶📸⭐ I've completed my latest project, a game adapting the comic "The Named" by @copperodyssey.bsky.social into a very short, 20 minute comedy-adventure game in RPG Maker 2003. You can play it now! blamerobots.itch.io/the-named
Finished "007 First Light." I was so worried initially but was floored by it. It's special when you feel "in communication" with a game and that you are in control and wowing you every moment This and Indiana Jones give me hope for linear, singleplayer narratives going forward
Saw a Beatles play... Please Please Me at the Kiln Theatre. Genuinely written like the Ashton Kutcher Steve Jobs film. Left at the interval I was in awe of how terrible the script was. Poor cast having to read those lines every night
I've a new basic website. Info about my projects, games, commission info here: blamerobots.neocities.org
I've been obsessed with these Seiko "Melodies in Motion" clocks the past couple of days and some of the bizzare ones I've found include a clock of Beatles songs and one with Broadway show tunes. Now I really want both of these for myself. 1/2 (Both videos are from timelessmoments)
Today in Japan it's the 30th anniversary of Twilight Syndrome: Search's release 🥳🎉🎉🍾 The Fan TL is still in progress and is coming, though there's some other projects also in progress... 🙂 Here's some fan art scanned from a Human Fun Club issue scanned by @diarioart.bsky.social
If you're going to reference things and bring back whole characters with their attached baggage, why not develop them further. For example if Kimberly/"SilverSox" were combined it could've given "SilverSox" a greater arc with Romeo rather than being sidelined past his chapter until the end. (9)
There's lots to chew on for sure if you're a fan but aside from name-dropping terms and brushing up against concepts like KTP's mystery deal-making beings, there's not a lot of earth-shattering revelations. KTP is name-dropped even though for romeo himself he doesn't really have a past to kill. (8)
