Too weird to live, too rare to die. I created Sagexpo.org a long time ago, dabbling in game development for 20+ years. They used to pay me to write. People seem to like my Youtube videos.
Considering that a wrap. I have about ten side missions left, but they're mostly janitor stuff or things that sounded really tedious.
Almost as done with Control as I want to be. I may or may not go back and do some of the (frankly, many) side quests I ignored. But I'm chomping at the bit to start Alan Wake 2, especially now.
That was a lot earlier than I expected. blazehedgehog.tumblr.com/post/8213229...
Reading the 404 article about the Suno hack does suggest the RIAA has been accusing Suno of theft since September of last year, so in theory this source code leak is their smoking gun and the real question is whether or not they actually act on it now.
I mean not to brag or take a swing or anything but this is how I've always talked about and thought about remasters. 🤷
Youtube has started copyright matching my ancient Overwatch MVP posts from like eight years ago, claiming it is 100% matching to other videos that are, in fact, completely different. Same character on the same map, sure, but nothing else matches even a little.
Not pictured: Sonic Colors Ultimate, which got scrolled way off screen because I added a bunch of free games to my steam library a few nights ago after it was gifted to me.
Thank you for all the birthday wishes and things over today, friends. I had some weird unexpected family drama come down which was a real shot through the heart (don't worry, don't ask) but as far as what everyone else did, it's been a nice day.
Easy scrolling credits: write a simple webpage, tell Firefox to screenshot the full length, crop and scroll the PNG in the editor. It's what I do.
Used that freebie Walgreens 8x10 print a few weeks ago to make a little poster for my Youtube channel and I'm really pleased how it looks in person.
Also surprising to see Haim Saban as one of the music people. I guess I don't know my animation history so well. For those not in the know, Haim Saban is the founder of Saban Entertainment, as in the production studio that created The Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers (and dozens of others)
He's not listed in the voice cast, just as a co-creator for the characters.
I know someone who runs a Jellyfin server (like Plex used to do), and recently he added all of The Real Ghostbusters. Picked a random episode last night and it was the one about the GBs going to to sign the movie deal for the 1985 movie. This is totally an uncredited Dan Aykroyd voice cameo, right?
To your point that you can just sell people a code, I do think that's where we'll end up. Walmarts already have a growing wall of game codes on gift cards, and I'm assuming that's what will replace discs. That will be their bare minimum, so grandma can stick a game in a greeting card or whatever.
Do the UPS air and ground deliveries also make this possible? (So far, the controller seems fine)
At some point if we're going to be howling with laughter over Captain America's giant bulge we need to be laughing at how impossibly large women's breasts are or how thick their thighs are or etc. Or we just stop caring. That's kind of where I'm starting to land.
With everyone shocked by Captain America's summer skin in Marvel Rivals I had to see if that was *actually* in the game. And it is, but also a lot of guys are very noticeably packing. Cap is definitely in a league of his own, but Marvel Rivals has always tried to make everyone hotter, so...
