What an incredible experience to have witnessed and shared with so many people and our little family in Valencia Spain.
Bonjour de Paris! Lucky enough to be here for #wikimania2026 this week. So far it has been an incredible event. Looking forward to more great interactions.
Husband brought home this swag t-shirt from a tech conference and obviously no one on this team was female…. #HRT means something very different to women 🤣 (Hormone Replacement Therapy)
On our way to @getdweb.net camp this week, I just had to stop by the side of this field to take in and capture the beauty of the scene to share. #sunflower #summer
Today I was privileged to attend a powerful presentation by @ifightforbooks.bsky.social at @kb.nl wearing my @internetarchive.eu hat. Thank you for your time and for tirelessly working to support freedom of access to information.
Sheet lightening in the layered sky from our house in Utrecht before it got to us.
A woman on the train sketched me during our trip from Amsterdam to Utrecht. I had no idea until she was almost finished. What a wonderful way to pass the time. I was answering emails to @annaleen.bsky.social 🤣
Noooo 😭 Sending light and love to all who were lucky enough to know her. Marcia was the best. I have such fond memories of her even though I was so young. May her memory be a blessing.
Yay - no sticker - but confirmation that my vote in California was received and will be counted. #democracy #democracyisnotaspectatorsport
I made some tonight to celebrate May 25, but I am a bit far away, sorry! Jamon y queso & Carne cortado a cuchillo.
I looked out the bedroom window earlier and saw this swan. The world is crazy but life is beautiful. Now, I am listening to my husband learn to play the guitar downstairs- total bliss. 🥰🎸
Whizzing through Germany in the ICE train, the rapeseed fields almost burst through the windows. I actually like that the camera lens couldn’t focus.
Beautiful view over the Japanese garden in MaximaPark in Utrecht today on our group morning walk.
@anildash.com - I'm working on a presentation about social networks over history and found you! 😂 web.archive.org/web/20010206...
It is interesting to read the reasons here on BSky I see over and over as to why Kegsbreath is firing US Generals - because he won’t promote POC and Women. It makes much more sense if they are being fired because they won’t go along with war plans.
Getting ready for No Tyrants 3 in Amsterdam this afternoon. About 320 people showed up. #notyrants3nl #notryantsnl
Beautiful morning walk with a friend in MaximaPark Utrecht. The crocuses and snowdrops are out!
Great afternoon event at work, now off to London for a week’s vacation with the family before an intense two months of work.
Started by Americans living abroad, and welcoming any like minded people. We stand up for democracy and against fascism. Please follow Indivisible NL here on BSky and elsewhere. Full chapter and website coming soon @indivisiblenetherlands.nl
I freaked out July 2024 when he was given immunity. People told me I was over reacting. “First, none of the participants … considered the scenario unrealistic, especially after the supreme court’s decision in Trump v United States, which granted the president criminal immunity for official acts.”
