This is a horrible tragedy, and it sucks that kids going just a few miles turn to driving, cars that are not speed limited, that they can’t control. Now she’ll live with disfiguring burns, and knowing that she killed four of her best friends for the rest of her life. Cars are death machines.
1 full Costco cart, loaded onto my Bullitt. I had 3 boxes of 24 cans of drinks each loaded up in the front over the front wheel. Felt like I had suspension on the way home. This was the most weight I’ve ever carried on it, and it was balanced and fun. Much more stable than my old Xtracycle.
I love how California doesn’t exist as a place in the standard country discourse. Average is $6.15. We are the most populous state, and the media just kind of ignores us as a real place to consider. But also, EV adoption in CA is off the charts, so maybe they’re trying to ignore us:
