I was not expecting this. Maybe Robertson is a good 3LD, borderline 2LD with more improvement? #NYR LD now crowded w/Gavrikov, Pettersson, Robertson, Fortescue, Smits. Thinking out loud: Wonder if those Gavrikov rumors had some truth to them?
You are correct about the "R" part. The "D" part might be a stretch though.
A very smart team is going to sign Nick Blankenburg to a 3-4 year deal at $4 million and be very, very happy.
Trading for another CAR defenseman probably isn't a great idea, but Nikishin would be a solid get for #NYR, price dependent.
McTavish's microstats from A3Z. Good offense, decent zone entries, struggles a bit in his own zone, but all of Anaheim did. Sully should fix that DZ play. Offensive instincts are there. Good buy low candidate for a team starved for offense. #NYR
This is Sam Bennett the year before Florida traded for him. Sometimes you recognize talent and take a risk. This is a worthy risk.
I've been wondering why site traffic has been wonky over the last year. I'm assuming part of it is because I refuse to allow AI generated bullshit like this to be acknowledged on my site. #NYR
If Byram or WHO becomes available? When did this become a possibility? #NYR
Not entirely. His career high was the 23 points in his rookie year w/NYR until 24-25 w/Vegas, which corresponded w/an extreme SH% bump to 18% last year and this year.
Here are 23-24 and 24-25. Don't know what happened after 23-24. I'd love to trade Borgen too but I'm assuming that 1) Drury loves him, hence the contract, and 2) that contact makes him virtually untradable.
Borgen = good skater, passable at getting the puck out of the zone, bad at actual defense. Schneider = Good in the offensive zone, passable skater, bad at getting the puck out of the zone, bad at actual defense. Trade Schneider while you can still get a haul for him. #NYR
Political memes are so fucking exhausting, but I legit laughed at this one
#NYR need skill, not more gritty hit everything that moves players. NYR will not be a serious team until they address the one and only thing that actually wins hockey games: Scoring goals.
Here's Fox vs Werenski, Lacombe, McAvoy, and Sanderson. Wtf are the haters watching that makes them think Fox is bad?
The amount of Adam Fox slander across the site and social media is certainly something. No one is untouchable, but Fox is as close to it gets for #NYR. He's a top-3 D in the NHL, bar none. Here's Fox vs. Hughes, Makar, Hedman, and Faber.
