I was at a Jesus-themed birthday party (the celebrant turned 33) and I apparently took a perfect picture of a dude who was there
It’s honestly wild how many people will go outside on a day like this without an N95 mask or something similar. Like, I get that y’all were weird about Covid, but you can actually see this shit.
Everytime I see this anywhere, I immediately wonder, “are they making the reference I think they are?” Which, yes, means anytime you see that phrase in anything I’ve written on the internet, I’m writing it in the desperate voice of Brad Pitt in Se7en.
Got out my sketchbooks to help my kid with a comic project she’s working on and found a sloppy one I drew, uh, I guess like 20 years ago about a kid getting a Sony PS3. Feels like it’s still relevant!
It feels important to mention that this is from a walkthrough for Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble.
My kid got out of bed while I was learning Warren Zevon’s Keep Me In Your Heart, and she decided to record it, then started singing along. Maybe a weird share, it’s not like it’s a great performance. It’s just that there’s just a lot of bad happening and it reminded me that nice things happen, too.
Okay yeah you’re right, it’s just similar enough that when I heard them back-to-back my brain kinda just mapped the notes onto each other. Still!
This particular bit is such a good insight that I wish I'd had at the author Vincent's age. I realized much later that there's no switch. It's more like fluid in a balancing tube that's flowing from one end to the other, and the balance can and will always shift. Lovely story.
To be clear, I definitely used other people’s art for my flyers. I really loved repurposing old western pulp novel covers.
I do too! I almost added it to the post. Aw, to hell with it, here it is.
Thanks to visionOS 27's new custom environments feature, I can finally pretend I'm working in a ditch next to the highway outside of Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Came inside to cool off and decided to do some streaming. Come chat me up while I try again to beat Star Fox's hard course? www.twitch.tv/blunderchief
Y'all, last night I found this picture I took with an iPhone SE in 2017, and I have been mildly obsessed with it ever since. I finally figured out what this half-blurred picture of a 2001-ass CGI monster is, but who wants to guess before I reveal the answer later today?
Having lived through the fallout from the Wind Waker announcement, this is very funny to me.
Me, preparing for my thumb wrestling match against Yoshiaki Koizumi in Wii Sports Resort.
Tried another one and oh no what have I done, i should never have tampered with god’s creation
Caved and installed iOS 27 beta and used the new safari AI extension builder to try replacing ads with a white box that says “OBEY.” 1st two attempts returned errors saying the feature can’t be used to block ads. So I started the prompt with “Doesn’t block ads. Enhances them,” and it worked, lol.
