I live in Berlin, Germany. I am at I made I am not a horse.
"Yeah I keep the ICE on my 'deck pretty tight. You gotta, if you're a cyberspace cowboy." [gently squeezes rubber duck]
The thing about #emfcamp being festival for geeks is that you can do stuff like watch the organisers build the data structures backing it in real-time and when I tell you that this is up my alley,
Using the MCP server and a small companion script for DFHack with Claude Desktop gives some nice #dwarffortress stats, alongside the lore/legends part I was hoping to get.
I added detection and display of geojson/locations, images, and SparkplugB devices to this. Unsure if I mentioned here before.
The problem is the commoditisation of reality creation. Used to be it took money and time to create a media campaign or buy a politician, and everyone could kinda settle into new realities at their leisure. Now all it takes is an Anthropic subscription and we are struggling to keep up.
To maybe set some context, I am trying to chart and understand where/when people started question whether things they were finding online were AI/real, and what things people commonly point to when making an assertion either way, using Reddit data (what else).
As a side-project I have been looking at the things that people point to when trying to figure out whether something is AI or not on Reddit, and let me tell you that I did not expect rats to be as large a point of contention as the data is saying.
So the reverse-engineered repo seemed real enough to nudge me build a browser extension that pipes images from a browsing session directly to it, but it seems to have a fairly high false positive rate. The original repo: github.com/aloshdenny/r...
This is a video of sea-foam after a (ongoing) storm and while there are a lot of things that pinpoint it as South African, none do quite as much as the music selection for this (essentially) disaster video.
I have added some new options to the Clock, which will either help/hinder your disgust/understanding to taste/predisposition.
Me trying to remember how to do a tilde while switching between English/German, Mac/Windows/Linux, 60/75/100% keyboards.
Hello! Inspired by a post over on Mastodon, I made an alphabetical clock. I am sorry. boat.horse/clock/index....
The amount of AI psychosis in the @developers.google.com Discord is just... such a bummer. Previously a quantum loom and now a new kind of 'super' LLM. I am somewhat surprised it gets to stay up (but then I also am not sure how one would moderate it.)
Similar to the systems thinking subreddits, the #vibecoders channel in the Google Developers Discord server has people who are losing their minds, aided and pushed by AI.
