Three weeks ago we went back and forth via text about this collection of college basketball clippings my mom saved from the ‘60’s (mostly about The Big 5/St. Joe’s). It ended with him telling me he couldn’t wait to read through it. This one really hurts.
Absolutely gutted. Dan was a great writer and about as good a person as I’ve met. I will miss random text about random basketball artifacts, the joys of shore tshirt culture, and debating the quality of showmanship of coaches on the sideline.
