Went and saw the confluence at Waterloo Greenway and some of the newish features at roy guerrero park yesterday. It was great time in Austin, I will tell you what.
Just trying to go to every record store and bookstore in Austin at some point. I think I’ve hit all the record stores but I definitely missed a few book stores. At Palomino coffee which I have never been to before, it’s honestly beautiful in here.
I did I fact go get an Apple Fitter at Sh Donuts because I do in fact deserve it. Thank you @adrew.dadguy.help for the reminder.
Peaches was amazing last night. Definitely better live than on record imo. Central Machine Works is a fun place to watch a show.
Forgot to post the last record last night. Adrianne Lenker’s Songs and Instrumentals. I only played Instrumental portion before the party moved outside.

“Around the World In the Day” is my favorite Prince. It’s fun, experimental and has my favorite Prince song “Pop Life.”
Art Tatum is my favorite Jazz musician. I have multiple records by him, but I picked this collection up recently. He is really good at the piano.
Now playing Joni Mitchell’s “Court and Spark” which is probably a top five record for me all time. Playing it before my Birthday Party because I am quite afraid I will start crying.
Now moving on to the great @cheekface.bsky.social their third record “Too Much Too Ask” What a fun pre party time I am having.
Having my birthday party today and playing records all day. I will share them here. 1st up, Tom Petty’s Wildflowers, which is almost a perfect record. I somehow missed it when it came out, when I was a teenager. Even though did have full moon fever. Smudges on the record player are from my cats
Didn’t post about the Rockets game tonight because I went to the Rockets game tonight. They won!
I don't doubt Windy's reporting, but the idea that the Rockets FO still views Amen as more untouchable than Alpi is wild to me. I got into arguments with people on here about it in the summer, but it's even clearer now. Sengun is a top-12/13 player right now, and what he needs to improve is doable.
It's insane that the Clippers went down by 27 points tonight, and it's only the second-most embarrassing loss of the night.
I feel like this is a good trade, although if I was the Warriors I might not do it because of Moody part. I wish they had another Buddy Hield type contract.
I had fun tonight, even though it felt like the Rockets didn't get one defensive rebound in the second half.
