Shout out to a special and local place known as “the library.” I got this beautiful book that retails for about $125 for exactly zero US dollars.
This is the doctor you get that is eager to confirm gender identity during sports physicals.
Jesse thinking about all the bacon and donuts he could eat if he didn’t need to conform to the demands of Yorgos Lanthimos.
Im going Nirvana Unplugged. Apex of Grunge. From my primitive music mind, this was the not necessarily the best, but the beginning of the end. “You have a month to write a 33 1/3 book about the album of your choice. Which record are you going to write about?”

Let it be known that MLB, much like the Highlander, can have only one Blaze.
Please enjoy this sunset as we found our vantage point for fireworks. Happy Independence Day, all.
What waiting looks like [nods to @tyrellmayfield.bsky.social ]. Why yes, I am wearing Alden boots to take the Last and the Better Half to the Raiders of the Lost Ark showing. Just not the model that Harrison Ford wears in the film.
“This game had it all. A double steal leading to a pinch hitter mid-AB. 2 run go-ahead shot from popular but oft-injured player. A bases loaded walk in the 9th in which ball 4 was challenged and overturned. Incredible. This club is the best kept secret in MLB.” #StLCards

Shout out to the @stltoday.com for continuing excellent coverage of the Cardinals. Critical for the mid-distance fan in the age of streaming fragmentation. Inset via Ask @dgoold.bsky.social chat:
I walked into this book cold, and folks, it was an experience. Quietly devastating, beautifully written, and even shocking at times. I had a feeling similar to watching “Kids.” I will be processing this for some time.
