If you're a Firefox user, you've probably noticed this annoying box the browser automatically adds to Bonjourr. You should know that if you have the will, it is removable thanks to the userchrome.css file. We've just added the snippet to remove it to our documentation: bonjourr.fr/docs/faq/#re...

Do you mean their background? If so, it's possible to do it within the settings. Click "Show all settings" at the top, then click the middle button in the quick links style:

You might have noticed that Chrome now forces the bookmarks bar to appear on new tab pages, even if said bookmarks bar is disabled in your settings. We've looked into it, and there currently seems to be no way to fully disable it. Hopefully it's just a bug and Google reverses course.

This is Bonjourr running with Adaptive Tab Bar Color, a Firefox extension that allows you to change the color of the top bar depending on the content of the page. Absolutely love this, but unfortunately due to how new tabs are compartmentalized, it only works when you open Bonjourr as a web page :(

Question to y'all who use iOS 26: do you feel like Bonjourr's current settings UI now looks dated, as it's inspired by the appearance of previous iOS versions? We still haven't gotten to really like iOS 26's redesigned settings, so we're hesitant on pushing it to Bonjourr. What do you guys think?

🐛 You might experience a small bug in the latest Bonjourr versions where the background is stuck in low quality and the blur slider doesn't work. We're taking measures to fix it in the next version, but you can easily fix it yourself: simply move the brightness slider to make things normal again :)

We've had multiple users get in touch because they couldn't find the button to download backgrounds anymore. Well, it's our fault, since it's been moved! Hover at the bottom of Bonjourr and you’ll see it in the new background options.

Experimenting with the new iOS 26 styling, it still needs some polish and not sure yet if we'll stick with it, but I like how much more "playful" it looks with the added color and roundness of it all. What do you guys think?

In the latest Chrome version, Google has introduced a new feature that adds a bar at the bottom of custom new tab pages, including Bonjourr. This can easily be disabled by right clicking on it and selecting "Hide footer on the New tab page".
