Not carnaval related but this is a cesta básica. Many firms give one of these to each employee every month. Usually it's for blue collar works. Rice beans, oil, salt etc. It's price is also a basic economic indicator.

Eggs ham and cheese are really common as well but this bread is a Brazilian staple.
Brazilian curiosity of the day: that is the entirety of the cereal aisle in a big chain super market here. If you look closely that's actually only three or four total choices. Cereal just never caught on here.
