I might be biased, but I honest think the Pleistocene exhibit might be even better than the dinosaurs at the Museum of the Rockies. Elephants are just such terrifying and awesome animals. Seeing a mammoth skull makes me appreciate the elephants we still have even more. 🦣🐘

Not that many animals out and about today. It's cold and overcast, and we're getting rain in a couple hours. We're running over to Grand Prismatic Spring before the weather gets worse, and then it's back on the Grand Loop. But we got a good look at Old Faithful!

A little hard to make out, but I saw a family of geese floating along the Virgin River while hiking to the Grotto in Zion National Park. I tell ya, that's the dream: lazily floating down a canyon river as a goose.

Update: I survived! And my feet hurt slightly less than I expected! Got to the bus stop and then believe it or not, I kept going! I rode up to the Riverside Walk (to soak my feet) and then hiked from Big Bend to Weeping Rock. Currently enjoying the Lodge's biergarten. Then I collapse into sleep.

I am living my best Oseram life in Zion National Park this weekend! I did the Emerald Pools hike today, with a leisurely stroll planned tomorrow for Big Bend and Riverwalk. I thought about hiking the Narrows, but it's a bit too pricey. Hope everyone is having a fantastic Memorial Day weekend!

May the Fourth be with you! Tried out a new deviled eggs recipe (substituted Greek yogurt for mayonnaise) and I decided to make it Star Wars.

I decided to grab dinner to go before driving back to Las Vegas. I heard about this Ukrainian restaurant called "Mom, Please" so I drove over to Playa Vista. Then I realized I've been here before. Not long after I graduated in 2015, I drove all the way here to DICE LA to submit a copy of my resume.

One thing I will say that Las Vegas does unquestionably better than any other city is live entertainment. This show tonight for Drum Tao is amazing! 🥁 Also, side note: great example why gamedevs should get out more. Every song is a new idea for another cutscene, another combat level, and more! 💡
