I looked briefly at FLAG after an influencer network w/ ties to Nick Adams and other MAGA figures launched a coordinated push to discredit a consumer pressure campaign I was part of. July '22-Feb '24, they ran more than $50k worth of political ads like these on FB. Big no-no for a 501(c)(3).

How this situation has impacted care for detained people is THE most important Q. Also worth asking: Why does Acentra say it wasn't contracted to start processing claims, when ICE justified its no-bid award by calling it an "absolute emergency" to "immediately procure claims processing support"?

The ICE Health Service Corps website says providers should “hold all claim submissions while we work to bring the new system online.”

Lindsey Rodarmer, public relations manager for Acentra Health, said the company’s role under its contract is solely to build out the claims processing system — not to start processing claims.

So much incredibly important information here. This data, obtained by American Oversight via FOIA requests, covers medical claims for people in ICE & CBP custody from Jan-Oct 2025.

There were also many claims related to injuries. For example, between January and October 2025, there were 3,421 claims for treatment for “injuries to the head” among those in ICE and CBP custody, totaling over $2 million. There were similarly high numbers of claims related to injuries to the knee and lower leg (3,226), injuries to the ankle and foot (2,016), and injuries to the wrist, hand, and fingers (1,955). Treating these injuries cost over $5.1 million. There were dozens of other types of injuries in the data we obtained; five claims specifically mention death due to brain injury.

I just want to follow up on Ed's very thoughtful question, that is, you've now gone down the path of being willing to sell your facilities to others, and you've sold them to the government, would you be willing to sell them to event centers or apartments or I think in my own mind towards the San Francisco Armory, which was a prison at one point, and which became a movie theater show and now housing. In other words, are you willing to evaluate your assets at different price points to see what's there as opposed to just the use that it's currently in?

We're always evaluating the ways to maximize the value of our assets and looking at the alternatives that might present. I can say we have not at this moment, considered actively alternative uses for our facilities. We believe the highest and best use is what they're purpose-built for. We think that generates the highest value for those assets to the extent that we do consider a sale. If we were to be approached by a buyer that had interest in our capacity, we would certainly not turn away that conversation. To the extent that someone did want to engage in dialogue, we're very open to that. At this time, again, I think the best value that we can capture from our assets is for the purpose that they were originally built.

ICE didn't report the 7/24 death of Prisciliano Trejo Romano in Georgia, having released him shortly prior. He's not the only one.

On July 16, his family received a call from his lawyer that Prisciliano had been transferred to a hospital in Georgia in an intensive care unit. The news devastated the family, and they all drove 4-5 hours to the hospital where he was located. Initially, the family was unable to visit due to Prisciliano being under ICE custody, but eventually the lawyers and ICE worked on an agreement, and he was able to be released from ICE’s custody.

In the last couple of days, there's been a pretty clearly coordinated troll/bot effort to storm some @de-icecitizensbank.org posts and push this kind of content on FB. And whoever's behind it is super into Tom Homan.

DHS didn't provide the baseline for death threats in this propaganda release, but an that increase could be from 1 to 81 death threats. Or they might be, you know, lying. Either way, it's definitely because of a strongly worded speech and not masked thugs abducting and killing people.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem’s message is clear: this violence and dehumanization of ICE law enforcement must end

WASHINGTON — Today, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released new statistics on assaults against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) law enforcement who now face a more than 1,300% increase in assaults, a 3,200% increase in vehicular attacks against them, and an 8,000% increase in death threats.

Sanctuary politicians have created an environment that encourages rampant assaults on law enforcement.

During the first year of the Trump administration, from January 20 – December 31, 2025, DHS officials reported 275 assaults as compared to the 19 reported assaults during the same period in 2024. This is a horrific 1,347% increase in assaults against ICE officers.

From January 21, 2025 – January 7, 2026, ICE law enforcement officers experienced 66 vehicular attacks against them, compared to only 2 during the same time period the previous year. This is a 3,200% increase in vehicular attacks.
