Ooh, neat. I think this is the first time I run a dual dGPU setup. gputop will display the activity on both. (single app with GL graphics on the Intel and doing the GI simulation as Vulkan Compute Shader on Radeon.) Vulkan's sim results are sent to CPU, and then uploaded to GL on other GPU. 🤣
#amdgpu throttling gets in the way of profiling my compute shader. Luckily there is a control: power_dpm_force_performance_level auto: 38fps (55W) profile_standard: 46fps (72W) profile_peak: 55fps (110W) By default, my photon mapper runs at 50% wattage, 69% perf.
@nerd4cities.bsky.social correctly identified World Cup’s top venue. I bicycled (all 7km on designated cycle route) to the stadium, and parked in front of it with FREE VALET parking, zero wait. I did not even have to lock up. Best Stadium ingress of my life.
I thought I would switch out my browser and from now on just use @operabrowser.bsky.social . Sorry, but it tripped up right out of the gate. It plays my 1080p youtube video at 360p only, and refuses any other resolution. Why? Playing a youtube video is the minimal requirement for a browser.

The freshly printed adapter for the Butcher & Son (London) 12x10 Rapid Rectilinear enables me to mount it on my #LargeFormat Abracam 2. At approximately 430mm/8.6 it is quite slow, but I like this #SelfPortrait with #Bokeh.

I mounted a Williams, Brown & Earle lantern lens with Petzval design on my Abracam Version 2. And made a #LargeFormat self-portrait with the antique lens.

“…got their land back…” Not really. In 1877 they were marginalized to 80 acres of land the colonists didn’t want. In 1913, colonists took that too. Homes torched! In 2002, 12 acres of 80 (crappiest part) returned. 2019: crappy land became valuable. Nimbies protest towers.
