Thinking about when I spotted a mockup of Haze for Xbox 360 in IKEA, like I’d just stumbled into an alternative reality in their gamer display room. What did you mean by this IKEA
Why yes, that is my old skateboard from 2002 featuring Tom Green in an illustration derived from Freddie Got Fingered. Thank you for asking.
Finding forgotten reminders in my camera roll of treasure in my parent’s crawl space. Thanks 2022 me, I do need to go and recover such bountiful spoils.
You also can’t convince me Kojima wasn’t influenced by Hooky in the 80’s for Venom’s saucy ponytail in Phantom Pain.
Ordered the localised version of 3 just yesterday and had no idea they put 4 out on PS4. Your dark influence has worked on me.
Dragged my fiancé into my Wii downward spiral. Umbrella Chronicles remains great, even if I will never get over that we could have had a Resi 4 gameplay style retelling of the games it covers.
Baffled. Just honestly baffled. What did I just watch. I feel like I need to go to bed. A pure dose of psychic damage. And that’s coming from a Revelations apologist.
I found a jar of honey in a locked safe. We're in adventure game logic territory now.
And why yes it did include a reference to a 1995 Resi 1 trailer thank you for asking. For ref… youtu.be/DmQ-ni2SFVA?...
Played some of this and sent a video to a friend group chat. Received the appropriate response.
Dug out all the Wii shooter adjacent games I have to try out, obviously not including 🏴☠️ Few of those were added wild cheap to games I already owned. The majority of the Wii resale market is surprisingly cheap compared to like every other older console.
Just googled Wii Shooters and found out there’s a Gundam shooter. It’s so over I’m so excited I know it’s going to be trash.
Think it’s at its best when it almost feels like a slightly more involved lightgun shooter, running between cover with a handgun and popping out for shots. The Time Crisis cravings are real.
It’s got some good tech but the game itself is just ok. Real bland art style and some frustrating encounter design. Can see so many of the popular games of the time in it, bit of Halo, Gears, CoD, Resistance and Killzone with a splash of X-Files. But at the level of like a 2010 Gameloft iOS game.
Played The Conduit on Wii the past few nights. Never really touched shooters on Wii when it was current, and it’s a surprisingly tactile and fun way to play the genre thanks to the free aim. Makes me wish a Timesplitters got ported over.
Pulled out this delightful treasure for #randomgamesaturday Escape from Bug Island aka NecroNesia in Japan, a Wii launch title that is pretty bad. Not sure I’ve ever seen or heard anyone else ever talk about this game, for good reason.
A bit of wine and we’re back to 2023, the Suika Game music hitting like an old friend.
Obligatory "How on the nose can you really get" with all their bullshit. Evil people thinking it's rad to do evil things and not even hiding it.
Bought it in 2005 for £30, one of the best purchases I ever made. Played it every day going to college, the peak of portability. Thing is tiny.
Through some fuckery and a ton of cleaning the charging port with isopropyl alcohol I was able to resurrect my long dead GameBoy Micro 👀
Never considered the converter causing those rolling bars, thought it might be something funky with the Wii video signal so dug out component cables and ran the Wii through my GBS-C. Cleaner image and no rolling. I am a fool who was being lazy. All props to you 🫡
Been on a PS3 kick recently so just playing random stuff I’ve bought over the years. Eyeing NeverDead and Folklore next.
This bad photo is the only evidence of my playing MindJack on PS3 to completion today. Mid ass, kinda just bad 2011 SQEnix shooter. I’ve played worse.
Grabbed some pics of the first few seconds of Metroid Prime a few days ago, perfect for #ScanlineSunday
Boxing Day lazing outfit sorted. Signalis brainrot continues, and Quick Change on Blu-Ray is an absolute treat.
