Mrs Jones was given this rose for her birthday. It's called "Lady Gardener". She gets really wound up when I constantly refer to it as her "Lady garden" 🌱

I wasn't convinced that this hanging basket would come to much as it's in the shade under a wisteria, but it has certainly surprised me! 🌱

A lovely summer evening.

I grew these dahlias from seed last year and kept the tubas over winter. Much bigger plants this year with loads of simple flowers in lovely bright colours. 🌱

I inherited this plant from the local council when they dug it up. I thought it was just a low growing succulent, but it has just produced these beautiful star shaped flowers. 🌱

This pot of lilies is just starting to go over, but they are quite stunning colours. 🌱

It's hard to beat the colours and variations you get from gazanias. 🌱

This is a weird plant that I inherited. Before anyone asks what it is called, I have no idea. I always called it "Grandma's penis plant". 🌱

I have just seen this beautiful wild orchid while walking the dog, but I have no idea which one it is.🌱

This was made from pieces of telegraph poles that were very heavy. The wisteria is now reinstated, I just have to wait and see whether it survives. 🌱

... so I decided to create an archway to reinstate the wisteria that used to climb through the tree. 🌱

We had to have this dying conifer removed from the driveway. 🌱

St David's day today and the field is full of wild daffodils. They're much shorter than most of the commercial ones but absolutely beautiful, especially in such numbers. 🌱
