In anticipation of various kinds of response to my earlier post about what Clive wrote, I jotted down a few points as attached below. I'm going to resist any temptation to get into any back-and-forth on it. This is what I think now, it may well change. Others are free to take or leave it.
Great piece of investigative journalism. I do often wonder if universities are becoming historical anachronisms now. So many, UK & USA, seem to have lost their way intellectually. The *form* of intellectual enquiry is still there but the content is all propaganda & no evidence in many disciplines.
