New Parapraxis arrived….terrific essays including my most recent musings on incest

NBA Season started yesterday and I was contemplating purchasing the league pass....I'm not sure if this is a reasonable price for one season....
always loved this from the acknowledgements to the great cultural historian Warren Susman's Culture and Commitment
over the past few years I have been compiling the uses of "history of the present" for an article i don't and probably wil not have time to write. This one, from Timothy Garton Ash, made me laugh for a number of reasons - egotistical, inaccurate, self-deprecating but also self-centering

I've been writing about incest for the first time in a very long time and one thing that has happened is that I have learned that I apparently made an insane argument 🤯
