Recently retired and now partially un-retired Singapore-based research scientist and professor of cell biology. Still dabbling in biotech, molecular biology and gene therapy. Often to be found under water. Fascinated by things that fly.
Continuing with the occasional nudibranch theme, here’s a couple from Anilao in the Philippines last month. Goniobranchus reticulatus and Hypselodoris tryoni. Definitely a place worth visiting if you like small creatures.
Strangely enough, I’m doing the same. It’s that sliver of white on the horizon.
Another nudibranch from about a month ago, Chromodoris willani. This one near Sipadan, Malaysia (Borneo).
Very happy with this nudibranch (Dermatobranchus ornatus). Spotted it at about 12 metres just off of Sepoi Island near Tioman, Malaysia
Bialetti coffee maker. Had it since I was a postdoc 45 years ago. Periodic gasket replacement, but still the same old pot. It’s been halfway round the world with me.
Prize has to go to Savoia-Marchetti S.55 and its stablemates. Unusual to put it mildly.
