It’s ten years since they doctored me! I’m in home office procrastinating as usual ¬ice date on certificate! Enrolled at 50. Got degree - onto PhD with English- &History depts - new career as author & tutor. It’s never too late to do something - or learn something-new. 📖✊

Aged 14 , I sent my handwritten poems to Norman McCaig asking for advice. I wrote to him at Stirling University where he lectured - I read about his job in a newspaper and took a chance and posted six poems. I still have his kind, handwritten reply. I treasure it. ❤️✍️
