Can’t stop won’t stop (tomato edition).

We brought an empty 18L plastic tub to the garden and that was a good idea because now it’s full of multiple colors and sizes of heirloom tomatoes. Also there are two small zucchini.

Our artful tomato corner has been invaded by even more tomatoes overflowing from dishes onto counter and windowsill.

Today @joelaha.bsky.social & I planted tomatoes, basil, beans, zucchini, peas, carrots, and roses. Also, we laid down lots of straw for weed control. (And the tulips continue to thrive!)

This week @joelaha.bsky.social & I cleared more debris from our community garden plot, tilled (his parents visited and brought two tillers!), and planted blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries. 🌷Tulips are starting to bloom, and the already-existing rhubarb continues to be absolutely gigantic.
