Don't trust that AI slop - they have far more (perhaps too many?) directors: Cathrin Banks, for example, is in fact a Class III railroad CEO. Andrew Davis runs a MOW company. Joe Davis seems to be a higher-up at the Maryland Transit Administration. It's not all railroaders but they're there.

Lashed up all plausible cars for an extra long holiday San Francisco Zephyr this weekend as I get more and more finished and in service. I think it's looking pretty good!
Some upgrades have arrived for my HO scale 1975 San Francisco Zephyr in the form of 3 new sleepers and a new baggage car, all weathered by the talented @interurbanera.bsky.social. The sleepers have custom painted and lit interiors including window shades and anti-fall bars over the hall windows.
Turns out this is pretty damn close to one of the original concepts from @vanshnookenraggen.com for this project - maybe someday I'll have an original thought.
Slightly widened and shortened to remove some blank space - being able to do this obviously depends on the info and exit directions.
Though having this sign have the "exit" bar with empty space plus multiple icons in the grey central section feels odd. I'd stick the exit identifier in the white area to link those two even closer.

This is my grandfather at work back in the 80s. He was a test pilot at Grumman starting from the LEM and continuing all the way up until the late 90s. You may know him from his work as the Apollo suit test dummy, or helping launch the Cradle of Aviation Museum on Long Island.

On the eve of the MetroCard's (kind of) retirement, I present to you all the first OMNY Card design prototype.
Last day of the running season yesterday means I just *had* to stretch out my '75 SF Zephyr consist as much as possible. Should have a few more cars (and fewer stand ins!) when the Museum reopens in the spring, too!
