I'm writing to you while on holidays, as this issue is extremely important to me.

Will you be voting for or against the upcoming three day waiting period legislation that Sinn Fein have brought forward for next week?

In your previous email, you didn't outline any issues with the three day waiting period change? Can I take from that that you will be voting to remove this paternalistic part of our abortion laws?

The government commissioned a report that was built into the legislation to review the law, and that report recommended removing the waiting period.

I personally have known people who were affected by the waiting period, and the extra time they had to wait caused them stress.

I even know someone for whom the abortion pill failed and the 3 day waiting period added more time to a. Very short and stressful deadline.

You don't have to take it from me and my anecdotes, there is a huge amount of research and evidence that back up the fact that the three day waiting period causes harm, including The World Health Organisations policies.

I ask that you consider all the people who voted for care at home in 2018 when you vote for this bill and I urge you to vote yes.
