Latest addition to "weird/cool things in my house": a Bluetooth speaker for the kitchen, built into a previously non-functional Fender amp.

A butter yellow wall with shelves (cat shaped wine bottles, novelty salt & pepper shakers, giant pottery Pokeball), drawers full of pens and ink, assorted clutter, a bread machine, various framed art, and a calendar. In the middle is a shelf made of piano wood holding a small Fender amp.

We have a weekend guest who showed up uninvited but brought a hostess gift of a vole. He's into interpretive dance and bird-watching

TFW you find a charm and make a whole cover to go with it, and then discover you already had matching contents. Leather cover dyed with shaving cream, leather dye, fountain pen ink, and painted with acrylic paints and glitter. Hand sewn, with pen sleeves, a handmade sketchbook and a nice journal.

Assorted cats stamps testing, part 2.

Getting ready for a project in a couple days for which I need a variety of cats. The black one is from my #the100dayproject, the orange one is new. What other classic cat poses do I need? Sitting up like an Egyptian statue, arched and hissy - jumping to catch something?

Apparently I am this many years old: I sat down and made my emergency contact a phone list. After watching the friend group spring into action for a loved one, I encourage you to do the same. It's not necessarily an "if I die" list, it's also a "I can't be there to figure this out for you" list.

At the bottom there is a further note "my phone passcode is" and instructions about how to locate other passwords. All the actual info is blurred out.

This was a hilarious and eye-opening experiment in using my non-dominant hand. 1. Pen in each hand, writing/drawing mirrored. 2. Pen in each hand, writing/drawing in parallel. 3. Pen in each hand, writing/drawing one hand at a time.

Notebook drawing in 3 parts, each with blue ink on the left and green on the right. Each section has two simple cat outlines, two sets of spirals going opposite directions, and words. 1: "mirrored" and the cats are facing each other. The left cat is wobbly and the right cat is more controlled. 2: "same same" and the cats both face left. The left cat is a hot mess and the right cat is, weirdly, a little worse than #1. 3: "one hand" and the cats face each other again. Left cat is wobbly, right cat is smooth.

#the100dayproject day 96 (counting adjustment) inspired by having emptied and cleaned a pile of fountain pens tonight. I now have ink all over my hands and also the table 🤷🏻‍♀️
